Does anyone know anything about these model telescopes.

10 inch Newtonian/Dob, BinTel BT-252 Telescope
with two Plossl eyepieces 25mm and 9mm & finder scope. ($500)

Both are second hand and wondering if they are good value or not. The dob seems a bit rich for a second hand model, and I dont know anything about skywatcher refactors. :confuse2:

Does anyone know anything about Steve Massey, the fellow who owns the skywatcher??

$500 isn't bad for the 10" Bintel (it's the same one I have), they're about $800 brand new, but it depends what quality it is in and how much postage is. Cause you might be better off buying a new one from Bintel or Andrews.

I'm not sure about the quality of the skywatcher, but Steve is a nice guy and so should do you right should you enquire abotu it.

What time to you set up, cause I'd love to have a look at your dob. Its a pity the ebay dob finished tomorrow. I wont make a bid as I still dont know enough to make an informed decision.
