Just having a quick play while waiting(another 6 hours) for Jupiter to come into view.
I don't know what region it is. My Lunar geography is very weak. :D

Geez, that really is a close up isnt it!

The moon is a good time filler like that, I was doing the same last night whilst waiting for jupiter to get high enough!

Nice image. The large (cropped) crater at bottom right is Clavius with Rutherford “breaking” into the rim. The crater above Clavius is Blancanus.

The crater left of centre with the prominent central peak is Moretus.

Imaging the Moon is a great way to kill time.
