yah that's excellent, jay posts on CN a bit and his images are simply stunning, it's good to see some people giving Suk a run for his money :P

Can the HH region be seen visually? Do you need a special filter to see it or can it only be seen in long exposure photos?

I have visited the region often and even under dark skies i cant see it. I think at least a narrow band filter is needed.

Visually it cannot be seen, the star next to it is far too bright. With the level of optics on my scope it was not possible to even get a glimmer and that is through a 10" UHTC. It is primarily a photographic target
