Hi Dannat,
Nice moon. I can see some jpeg compression. Why don't you repost it after cropping and or shrinking it down to say 1000 pixels?

I agree with Zuts, Crop it down to just the moon for posting, and back off the compression (mind you I like the off center composure of the full shot)
Good exposure, looks like you had a nice clear night to play with. has been much the same for me this evening!
Great first image post! keep 'em coming!
Alex.

Agree with the others - great start, but you'll need to crop and resize down to 800-1000px wide before saving the web version.
Keep at it!

thanks for looking, daniel
Hi,
If you have photoshop then just use save for web feature and set the dimensions to 1000px or whatever you like. Then set the compression ratio until it gets down to the 200kb limit.
If you dont have photoshop I guess you could use IrfanView. This will open Raw or Tiff files and allow you to convert to jpeg at a particular compression ratio. Just experiment until you get the limit. IrfanView is free http://www.irfanview.net
If it doesnt look to bad after compression then you dont need to resize it, if it does then you will. If you really dont like the result then there are plenty of free web sites where you can save your image and then link to that.
Hope this helps
Paul
