Not me, but it was only a matter of time before the Chinese brought out their own premium reflector. I assumed it was going to be a SCT but by the look of that... Very interesting.:)

If GSO are calling them RC's does that mean they have the hyperbolic primary etc same as a 'real' RC rather than an 'enhanced' Meade. Thermal stabillity is the major issue with RC optics as dimensional stability is paramount.
Just curious.

You're welcome Bert - nice to help someone out who has been around the traps for a while.
I had been keeping an eye on these as I am undecided as to what to do for a larger aperture imaging scope. Just have to convince her who needs convincing that breeding telescopes is a fantastic hobby :lol:

The site itself says 8" due April, 6" due May and 10" in June
