Hi everyone,
Almost two months ago I shot IC4628:
http://www.erwinvandervelden.id.au/Ic4628_050507.jpg
Nikon modified D70, 4 x 640s @ 800 ISO with the C9.25 @ f/6.3 on the Vixen GP DX.
Note the subtle colour hues in the nebulosity!
I still have a Virgo cluster around that same time to process.

A wonderful shot there, very accurate guiding and focus there too I note. How dark is the location where you shot it from?
Thanks.

Incredible Erwin, but it's time to bring out the fishing line ;)
eh? what are you on mike?
great shot. the blue of which you speak is quite bright around one of the stars and towards the bottom mixing with the red makes a pretty almost purple colour. well done! :D

Mike,
I'm stunned. I just saw Terry's Post on Digital_Astro about Erwin passing away.
We have lost a gem
