Here is a pic of Centaurus A I took at the SPSP.
WO ZS110 on Losmandy GM8 autoguided by Orion Starshoot autoguider.
6 x 10min lights, dark subtracted.
A promising pic stuffed up by poor focus!

Still a nice pic. with lots of detail and a lot of stars. What camera did you use?

Still some nice detail and colour, Geoff. But it looks like you didn't take flats?
Did you end up finding someone with the Canon CD?

Very perceptive about the flats Mike--I didn't take any. Yes, I found someone with a Canon CD. (For those that are wondering what Mike's question is about, I had updated to XP from 2000 and not having tried my camera--but tried just about every other bit of software and hardware--I found myself at the SPSP with the laptop asking me to insert the CD for the 350D. Fortunately someone had one with them. I think the moral of the story is "always ensure you can reload essential software in the field")

Nice and deep Geoff,
bummer about the focus but its not too bad!...
focus can be a challenge when your tired and the eyes just won`t focus either or they are all gummed up!! well that my excuse when I do it..:)
cheers Gary
