Jupiter, Callisto and Io

Hi all

For the second day in a row I had reasonable conditions, but unfortunately it seems I missed the best of it as the seeing deteriorated as Jupiter got higher. On both days, the very first run was the best of the whole session :( I also missed the double-transit on this day - that'll teach me to sleep in :)

always the way its terrific until you get the gear out and then..... still a respectable shot

More great Jup shots Mike. I like the two moons in the first shot. Do you have to process these images differently to get the moons as well as Jup in the same image?

I like them Mike and isn't Callisto dark, but still a reasonabley large disk compared to Io.

The detail in the second on Jupiter is very good also.
