Hi folks,
Well I wanted to try this for sometime and the 2nd of April worked out good for my first attempt at a animation. Seeing was average but stayed rather cloud free for the duration of the avi`s As I remember the animation covers around 1-1/2hrs with the transit of Europa? and its shadow. A avi taken about every 5 minutes but I did miss out on one or two!
Taken with my humble 6" newt and Toucam Pro with 5X powermate.
Quiet happy with a first attempt.
Now next time I shall get two moons and the GRS all together :) that would be cool!...:D
cheers and CS
Gary

Nicely done, Gary! I love animations.

I'd prefer it sped up a bit (I use 1/10 or 1/15s between frames).

Lovely animation Gary. I know you probably went through hell to acquire the data, process the images and animate the sequence, so top stuff mate!

Cheers

cheers

Thanks Peter...

Glad you didn`t mind it Tony!
Cs mate!

Thanks Clive for your kind comment!

Thanks Dennis!..
You are not wrong there, it is all quiet time consuming. Just the final processing to be able to make the animated gif took me nearly 2 hrs
Plus all those hours that poor old pc chugged away stacking the Avi`s
cheers Gary

Thanks maksutover, give it a go! Long as you have plenty of disk space to capture and PS or similar and just download Microsoft GIF animator and you are on your way!
cheers and thanks....
