Due to the recent teflon threads in the ATM section,
I am willing to part out a sheet of it I have left over to help out anybody who is struggling to find it locally.

Just send me a preaddressed envelope along with a small donation and I will send you however much you need. I have a lot of it left.

It's 3mm thick virgin teflon PTFE.

If anybody needs some, reply here or send me a PM.

Cheers

Mark

That's interesting Mark, but what do you use it for.

I'm certainly interested in some - enough to redo the bearings on a 25cm GSO dobs and to make a rotating cage for a longer newt.

Excuse my ignorance but how does one attach 3mm thick teflon to a surface? I know I've been told but I've forgotten.

thanks,
Dave

I'm glad I stopped by this thread, I thought you might of been seeking. I
found it near impossible to source up here on the north coast. I'm about
to start another scope so I'm definitely keen on some. I'll PM you.

AstraTraveller, I used 15mm bullet head tacks, then nail punched them
so they sit about 1mm below the surface.
