This is probably a strange ad, but, i am trying to track down a telescope i had when i was a boy. This was my first scope. It was a Vixen Super Polaris 5" (SP130). There were not many of these scopes around from what i know. In particular, this scope had a slide focuser. When i sold it, it had a 40mm ortho eyepiece as well.
I sold it around 1990 to a father and his son, name unknown. If anyone has this scope, or one similar, and wants to sell it, i would be very interested in purchasing it at the right price. It means a lot to me, especially if i could find the exact scope.
Anyone with a similar scope and who knows knows the history of it, and may be interested in parting with it, please let me know.
The moral of this story for me is, i should never have sold it.
