Heres one of the deepest images ever from my backyard at Newcastle.
Cometary Globule 4 (CG4) 3 hours 20 mins worth.

20 x 10 mins ISO200. no filter (full spectrum) Baader MPCC coma corrector. 6 inch f3.6 SN modded 350D with clear glass over the sensor to record IR as well as visible light.
Larger version here (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/uploads/CG4%2020x10minsiso200unf6inchqg_fil teredb.jpg)

CG4 looks like a dragon about to devour that tiny galaxy, this wider field image shows it emerging from its lair :)

nice work scott
its satisfying to get 3 hours plus on a target isnt it? usually the universe conspires to deny one this in one night so it feels good to be able to achieve this surely
..and a great target

Wow! That's really cool. What's that in the centre top (just left of the bright star) of that pic Scott? Is it a bit of that neb or something else?

A wonderful image Scott, that little galaxy looks great and the whole image is very sharp.

You've done a top job with this one.

Nice widefield Scott.
Plenty of dark dust there.
Well done Scott.

here is a CdC map of the same area which shows the dust clouds as well as the galaxies in Scott's image.

Thanks
Gee thats a nice detailed map there.
I was tempted to try a lpr type filter on it but as its mostly dark/reflection nebulae, it would not help I dont think
