Meade 8" Lightbridge eye pieces for Nebulae

Hi my wife and I have just purchased a Meade 8" LightBridge to complement our Orion 4.5" short tube reflector. Our passion is getting the big view of the many beautiful Nebulae and clusters that we can see from our dark skies in the Philippines. Any recommendations for eye pieces that will enhance our viewing will be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure you will recieve an avalanche of replies.
Just remember each person has their preference and budget.
But...........remember the recommendations you will recieve here, will be for good quality e/p's.
I use the Siebert line of e/p's, they are manufactured in the U.S by Harry Siebert.
The quality of his e/p's is very good to excellent.
The Ultra series are his premium level and well worth the money.
The views I've had through my 12" are superb.
The observatory series are the premium for the Ultra wide e/p.
They can both be bought as 1 1/4" or 2" in size.

Depends on your budget of course. There are lots of great EPs out there. I'll just recommend one that I think is a winner.

12mm Pentax XF is a superb EP and ideal deep sky EP for that scope. Not too expensive either.

Most nebulae are large so use a low power eyepiece with a good field of view and a UHC filter to bring out emission nebulae. I suggest a 20mm EP with a 68 degree field.

I agree with Glen, except I use a 20mm t5 and sit my 1.25" UHC filter
in the rubber eye cap, works a treat!. A pair of 20x80's triplets are a
good tool for large objects especially dark nebula along the Milky Way.
