Eta & Omega from Glebe

Eta Carina and Omega Centauri from Glebe, no moon, usual LP. Eta has been reduced to 1024 px.

Scope, TV85, 0.8 reducer, UV/IR filter
Camera, SBIG 2000 XCM, self guided, -15 C
Mount EQ6
Processing in Maxim DL and PS2

Eta
Lights, 12 by 300 sec, Darks, 6 by 300 sec, Flats 3

Omega
Lights, 5 by 5 sec, 5 by 10 sec, 5 by 30 sec, 3 by 60 sec, Darks + Flats

Now we are talking, very nice Paul, Worth it now? If anything I wonder if the focus is a touch soft on Omega?

Hey they are getting very nice very quickly! Excellent results!

To not have to compress so much, why don't you reduce it to 800px or 1000px wide instead of 1500px wide?

Thanks Gary, yes I am happy to be getting so much red compared to my DSLR. I am happy with the camera, just have to learn how to use it properly. I am not sure about focus, i spent half an hour with a motorised focuser. I am going to perservere a bit more with it before lashing out on a computerised one.
