I just around to processing a few imaging runs from last weekend.

The seeing on the 29th was below average and most of the time Jupiter looked like a blob with banding. Things got even worse when fast moving cloud started to move in.

Even though the bad weather ruined a good imaging session. I was lucky to capture two decent AVI when at times the seeing conditions improved.

Taken with the Celestron 8SE SCT and DMK with 2x Barlow. The DMK was shooting at 60fps with a 1/60s exposure. Processed and Stacked in Registax4 and PS CS3.

Let's hope that there wont be another morning like this again.

Thanks for looking.

There'll be many more mornings like that! Trust me

When your filterwheel+filters arrive?

Good question!

I have diverted my astronomical purchases towards my DSO setup.

Don't worry, I hope to get them soon.

Mornings like that seem to be the most common unfortunately.

Still, the captures look good to me.

well technically they're all grey in those images

But they're the small spots just before the CM, in the SEZ/STropZ.
