I captured a couple of Moon images during the morning of the 30th. The seeing was very averrage but the Moon was directly overhead at the time. I wanted to use the 2x Barlow but was shocked to find a large amount of dust on the lens.

I have no idea how it got there. I am always careful with putting on the caps and placing them back into the case.

I was just about to make a mosiac but decided not to, maybe another time. ;)

Lots of detail Matt but they look a little dark on my monitor. Second one is my favorite.

I like the middle one.. looks like you are flying overhead in the LM getting ready for a landing :)

Thanks guys,

Peter, it looks good on my moniter! :P

It's hard to know exactly what the right brightness etc. will be because my lappy's screen is much different to my desktop's moniter. I'll have to adjust them.

Nice shots, I particularly like the Copernicus. I like the lighting, but I think I have a fondness for the darker Lunar images.

Thanks Stephen,

I guess it is personal preference how you like you images to look. I really dislike moon images being too bright loosing contrast.

I ran the images through PS and adjusted the levels.

Hope these are better than the first ones. :)
