do all the models in the range - 8, 10, 12 and 16" all need to be collimated everytime they're going to be used even if they aren't going to be dismantled often?
Hi Prova,
I collimated my 12" to the best of my (limited :P) ability when I first got it, and have found that it holds quite well. I don't dismantle mine ever, but instead I fitted castors to the base board, and I just trundle it outdoors when I intend to use it.
Are you having problems with holding collimation?
Cheers,

when at home i leave mine assembled and carry it outside in 2 bits.. the assembled tube and the base. i give the collimation a quick tweak but probably dont have to.
after disassembling it i have found the collimation is worse but its not way out (except when it went over 20km dirt road at Easter :P). i found colour coding the struts and reassembling in the same way didnt really help.
basically do it every time but with bob's knobs and the barlowed laser collimator technique its really a 2 minute job.
