Here are my efforts from 2 nights ago before the clouds rolled through..

last quarter moon (just out of shot with m8 & m20) and 20 knot easterly winds made things interesting lol

B72 = 6x 10min sub - total 1 hour
M8 = 6x 10min sub SII, Ha, OIII - total 3 hours

Love the snake - very sharp.
What lens did you use for that pic?
I assume it was a lens - looks widefield!!:whistle:

Hi Doug,

both images were taken with a Takahashi TSA-102 with a SBIG STL-11K

with the field flattener i think the F/L is around the 770-800mm mark

The M8 photo is great. The SII and Ha makes for an unusual but very vivid colour.

yer lol I have taken a major liking to narrow-band imaging.. bit of a change to see it popular stuff taken in a different light (literally) :lol:
