Dear All
I have been a bit unwell so haven't felt like going out in the cold. Last night was the first time for a while and I just took some quick pics of M83 and a little PN called NGC2610 it is Magnitude: 13.0
Size: 50.0"x47.0" in Hydra
The images are 6 x 5 mins each through my Vc200l at prime focus of 1800mm with a 40D unmodded. Darks, flats, offset etc processed with Iris and then noise reduced with Noiseware. I don't own photoshop so that is all that has been done to them. The pn is cropped.

Well done Terry, two very nice images. The little planetary looks a beauty and has a great colour to it. M83 has some good detail in the arms and is nice and sharp as well.

Cheers

Nice effort Terry, certainly can see some detail in both your shots, hope you are feeling better so we can see some more of your work real soon.

Nice one Terry, M83 has good scale. Could the black point be moved up a bit to bring the galaxy out more?

You could do some layer masking to bring out the arms of the galaxy without overexposing the core any more..

Nice results.
