Hi folks,
Well early this morning the cloud had parted to a misty and steady looking sky. Quickly setup and was disappointed with the seeing to start with (5am) but within half a hour the seeing got very good and when it got very nice a started my first avi...well you can guess what happened next, a real thick fog rolled in and even the moon vanished to a bright blob..:mad2:
Well I can`t complain, I did get one nice avi!...
Best 300 out of 1200 frames with my toucam and 6" newtonian...
now only if I had a 12"....:)
Thanks for looking and CS people!
cheers Gary

Had a peek at your website Gary, some of your links are not working. Couldnt access equipment or about us.

Nicely done, Gary! Great image. I see some nice detail inside the GRS.

I've been away for a few days so I'm hoping for some more clear skies this week!

Nice one Gary.
I'm happy at least someone is getting some clear weather.

Terrific image Gary, especially for 6" of aperture – well done!

Thanks Davros, I know I have been a bit slack with my website! I shall have to redo it as I havn`t updated for some time!

Thanks Mike! was nice this morning as well but was around 6.30am before things steadied down and very little fog :).

Thanks Jeanette and Dennis! Its great to be able to have a go at something even under a full moon!

Excellent image Gary, you captured so much detail with such little aperture.

Just think what you would be able to do with 12". ;)

Well done.
