I went out on Saturday morning for a bit of roo shooting (with the camera of course;)).

I've just processed these. Captured with the Oly E-510, 70-300mm lens (mostly at 300mm) and image stabilization off ( whoops! It was supposed to be on when hand holding such a long lens!:rolleyes: Needless to say I'm very happy with the results considering!:))

Shot in raw then Lab processed to sharpen and give colours a kick.

Al!...... you had me worried for a moment. I actually thought you went out shooting Roos. :screwy:

Lovely images BTW. I really like the colour and contrast in all of them.

Just a question. How did you get the Roos to pose for you? ;)

Thanks Matt. The roos pose OK for a 300mm lens on the Oly (equivalent to 600mm on a 35mm);):P.

Actually, I know where there are roos (well, wallabies) that are tame enough to take similar shots with a 100mm lens but they are a good 30 minutes drive away. These were in the crown reserve between town and the dam. Since they are not so tame, it's an excuse to use the 300mm lens and do some stalking;):D (it's fairly hilly too so it's not bad exercise). The challenge is half the exercise;).
