The is the first time imaging the sun. Gees is it tricky or what. But during darting in from the clouds this is one of the images.

Probably Dennis, I need all the practice I can get. When I see some of the images the guys post.
I can only imagine how much time they have put in to get superb images that they posted on IIS.

Thanks H0ughy, It took me about 3 hours to get this today with clouds and trying to focus looking through screen glare. And all the hurdles that go with imaging You know what its like.

But worth it in the end.

All part of learning for me and enjoying it at the same time.

Nice capture Ian, I wanted to do the same but the clouds just wouldn't co-operate today. The best proms I've seen for a while particularly the one which was conjoined. Lets hope tomorrow is finer.

As an aside, I tried out my TV 15mm Panoptic (no longer available) for the first time on my PST this morning and it seems to be about the right combination in terms of magnification, field view and clarity. The next best EP is the 18mm Cemax from my experience.
