Finally braved the cold last night to do some imaging of Jupiter and the moon, as there was a small break in the jetstream.

Here's the Jupiter efforts, not my best but the seeing was only 5.5/10.

Will process the moon shots later.

- 10" dob on EQ platform, with ToUcam @ 5fps
- 3x barlow @ 3750mm FL
- Processed in registax and astraimage.

The shadow is from the moon Europa which had just transitted, and the GRS is setting. I don't like that Jupiter is getting smaller and smaller :(

Thanks

Thanks guys.

Tony, the settings were (pretty much the same as always):
Gamma: 0
Brightness: default (50)
Shutter: 1/33 (although I meant to use 1/25)
Gain: 10
I have auto white balance checked for about 10-20 seconds and then turn it off.

I will give you the link of my one and only Jupiter avi and a moon avi....I didn't use anywhere near the seting you did Mike with the toucam but give it a go...let me know what you think.

My Jupiter turned out terrible.
