Hi folks,
Well I have been busy taking avi`s of jup over the last few days as the seeing has been better than average and ocassionally very good :).
Here are my best results from the 12th, 13th and the 15th of this month. Have have been real happy with what I am getting as a final result after stacking. A lot of the avi`s I captured from the 12th were overexposed with only one the was reasonable . I sent a 500 frame block of to Mike (iceman) to have a look and was scolded for overexposing good data. With some good advice and help from Mike I can now make sure I can get the best settings to capture...thanks Mike.. Have included a original sized unprocessed image that mike stacked from the 500 frame avi..Mike has certainly brought out the detail which I am still getting the hang of.
I was very pleased to capture this morning one of the moon shadows starting its journey across the planet..:)
12th image is around 500 frames out of 2200
Mikes quick stack from 500 frame avi.
13th is close to 1000 frames ( was really steady seeing for a good 2 min)
15th is around 350 best frames as was not quiet as steady as previous nights.
All comments especially my processing and my color balance are most welcome...
cheers Gary
