You can get the COSMOS (7xDVD) series by Carl Sagan at a local Dymocks Book Store or ABC Shop.
Watched all discs twice so far.

Ironically, I just started reading the book last night.
Thanks to Astroron for lending it to me.

I have 2 copies.. a fairly recent one and a really old one I 'forgot' to give back to a friend about 20 years ago
I must've pored over some sections a million times. Never read it cover to cover though.
Great series too.. I still remember bits from when I was a kid. Leinad do you know the rough price of the DVD set?
Edit: found it on at JB website for $143.99

Hey programmer,
off the top of my head $150 but well worth it.
I'd also like to get his books as well.

I saw the 'Cosmos' DVD set in the JB Hi-Fi in Brisbane yesterday. I would have bought it had I had the money on hand.
I also recently bought the 'Cosmos' book, but I haven't begun reading it yet (still got a few ahead of it to read).
Good stuff!
:D Wow that was interesting ya gotta love utube

I think it's just called 'Cosmos'. Just remember it's nearly 30 years old, so 'special effects' and no doubt some information, will be somewhat dated. A lot of it is timeless, however. You might want to complement it with some of the more recent docos.

Yep, heres a picture of the boxset and description. Each dvd has two ~60minute sessions.
