Sitting on the plane last night heading from Bris back to Melb I got talking to the guy next to me.
Turns out his brother has bought a property about 2hrs east of Melb & this property came with it's own permenant Obs & scope.
This guy wasn't up on astronomy but from his discription I figure it's a 6" Newt.
The guy on the plane, Eddie, is going to discuss with his brother, the possibility of a bunch of people with scopes wandering in at different times.
Eddie himself lives an hr nor/w of Ballarat & said it's VERY dark out there. His property is off the main grid & 100% self relient for power, water etc.
He also offerd his patch of the sky for use.
Could be interesting.......
