Hi Joash,
I reckon it would be dangerous being an Astronaut,
BUT (lol, there's always a BUT:P)
I also think it would be fun and a once in a life time experience,
so I put 'Not sure'

Hi and welcome Joash, :hi:
If I had the chance to become an Astronaut..... I would.
It would be a once in a life time experience that only a very small number of people get to experience.
I voted YES! ;)

Joash,
I think there has been some confusion :confuse2:. This is the place for astro-nuts. Astronauts are down the hallway, second door on the left. :ship1:
But, while you're here I hope you enjoy yourself .

for the Astronaut in all of us - book your flight now!
(Select the HTML version if not sure, the other "graphically rich" version of the page is unsuitable for 'dialup' speed internet, and does involve some downloading of extensive graphics)
I still remember the Pan Am spaceplace from 2001 a space oddysey. Maybe it will come true after all. :)

wow only 55% saying yes so far. I thought it would have been at least a 90% yes vote in a forum such as this.

Referred as Lithium Crystals.

Touche, Grant, touche,
However, playing the Star Trek Nerd Card doesnt work with someone who was born 4 years after said episode! :P
Technically you are right, however, technically, I am even bigger a nerd for correcting you in the first place.
Anyone else think its funny that the very next post after Grant's comeback was from someone called "Bones"? :D

realistically, being an astronaut is very demanding, that's why most are former airforce pilots, so on one hand i would like to be up there doing something no one else has done, but on the other you know there are big risks
but if you have a few million $ to spare(about $20million should do it!) you could ask the Russians nicely and jump the queue!

thanks for your comments.
i now see most people want to make it to space. that's great and with Space Tourism becoming a reality soon, surely we shall have more humans visiting what man has loved to conquer for a very long time.... SPACE..:)
