A lot of stuff there in 75 minutes, Paul. Good stuff.
What is a 27 star TPAS run? I understand it's an Argo Navis feature, but I haven't read that section of the manual :)
BTW, totally off topic, but I found you on BGG the other day via an astronomy microbadge!
great report Sentinel, might have a go at some of the stuff you describe next time I'm out. That's a hell of a lot of objects yopu bagged in just 75 mins!

Dude,
You found me on BGG, Great!! It was games night last night...El Grande!!
TPAS enhances the pointing of the Argo. Nice feature, a little daunting to begin with but now I am getting pretty good at it. While the sky is getting dark, I just run through a series of stars now fainter than 3rd Mag and run a model on it. Bingo. Exceptionally good pointing.
I use Astroplanner, Skymap Pro v11 and Skytools to generate some lists. Checkout my website for some monthly lists of good objects.
Cheers.

Planning is the key.
I had a very limited time, so I was very efficient!! The Argo Navis makes getting around so much more efficient. I swore by Starhopping and defended it for years, but hey, sometimes I get things wrong!
All the best.
