Newbie from Adelaide

I found out about this forum and decided to have a look see. I live in Adelaide and always interested in talking to fellow astro people. For info I have a TAK TOA130 on a G11 with Gemini and a Meade LXD 55 SN10 with adapter plate to fit G11. (LXD55 mount and tripod are rubbish)
The posts that I have read so far are great, and all here appear very friendly and helpful to say the least. Definitely seems like a nice place to be

You answered my question before I asked it - "how dou you find the LXD55" mount? :)

I was considering buying a second hand LXD55 mount for my TV101 4" refractor, but have spent all my money on other astro stuff and shelved this idea.

Cool we will have to catch up some time? I spend time with an old friend of mine who is into astronomy and has an Lx90 8". So if you want I will try to organise a get together and astro night. Start our own little group in Adelaide.

Thats ok I have a truck (ute) with a cabin cover so that we can fit in all the gear, we pack all our gear into boxes and pack the truck and head off to a dark site. We have a few of them, I will talk to Bob and set it up.
