Hi everyone,
After getting some practice over the last few months having a go at Mars and Saturn and getting better at using Registax, here is my first attempt at Jupiter. Was a bit foggy this morning but the seeing seemed a bit better than average so after some deep sky images, I decided to have a go at Jupiter.
Stack is around 500 out of 2200 frames from the best video which was the last one around 6:20am. I`m quiet pleased with the detail showing but I think I have overdone the waveletts a little?
Image enlarged by 200% for show.:)
Comments most welcome!...
cheers Gary

I like it. I'd like to see the original size one. Size doesn't matter.

Bloody fantastic, Gary. Very well done.

Lots of detail, good colour. Excellent result.

G'day Gary, nice image! Maybe just a touch over exposed around the equator though, but these things can be hard to judge.

What capture software are you using, Gary?

Have you got the histogram turned on?

Overexposing is a sin! And so easily avoided.

I'm not much of a Planet person Gary, but wouldn't mind hanging that in the pool room, well if I had a pool room that is, nice work.
