Just looking at the Spaceweather site, http://www.spaceweather.com/ and saw a bit about a newly found asteriod which is approaching quite close to us, ~100 000 miles from Earth. 2008 EZ7

Cannot find any info or charts showing were it is, or even what constellation it will move through.

Can anyone help perhaps? It would be interesting to be able to look up and think, there it goes.

Lastest Spaceweather update suggests there may be a twin traveling with it!!

You might try http://www.cfa.harvard.edu/iau/Ephemerides/Unusual/index.html
Astronomical Ephemerides are available there!

Cheers!

This link was provided on the Spacweather site just under the gif animation of the 18m rock passing by earth:

http://cfa-www.harvard.edu/mpec/K08/K08E67.html

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll find RA & Dec figures for up to March 14th. It appears to be located within the constellation Hercules for the moment, drifting slowly in the direction of Vulpecula.

Note that right now it's somewhere around mag 16 to 18, and diminishing fast, by the 14th it's expected to be down to mag 22.
