We had a nice storm too but nothing damaging.

Thank goodness the kids slept through most of it :)

Hope you didn't get anything too rough Houghy.

We had an early evening storm which cleared away to a crystal clear night.

I didn't get a chance to take advantage of it as I other things to clear out of the way first, maybe tonight as it's all looking good at the moment.

Cheers

Not sure if it was that front or an earlier one that hit us at about 22:00... I was in the middle of copying photos to an external HDD for a "slide night" presentation when the pooter curled up suffering the black death... I'll try again today...

I haven't checked the rain gauge properly but from the back door it looks like we got 2-4mm rain:shrug::rolleyes:.

Wallsend and Elermore vale had minor flooding, given the duration and intensity of the storm it was between 1in 50 and 1 in 100. we have had 4 events of this calibre since January this year:sadeyes:. I am getting sick of this weather :help:- you guys up north in Sunny Queensland will definitely understand. Petra thanks for the concern. Has Dave got his trebuchet prepared for this year??;) Maybe you can test the 20" mirror?

Just to make you guys feel better when I used to live in New Guinea there was place I worked out of called Kikori that got 38 FEET of rainfall during the wet season.

Clear skies all.
Cheers
