Hi All,

NGC2122 in LRGB.

Larger version available at http://tinyurl.com/2798ef

Even though I had acquired data from previous nights the focus was soft, so I only used what I got last night, 150 mins Luminance and 30 each of RGB.

Lots of background stuff in there too.

Cheers
Stuart

Stewy,

First up...Rule 1) : There is no such thing as green stars. If they show up in an image...well...read rule one.

That said, there are many good hallmarks here. Stars look round, nice variation in star colour, and clearly there is some (non-easy) focal length being used.

Good effort

Peter

Hi Peter,

Actually yes, I had another look at it, and I came to the same conclusion, too much green.

So ...

They weren't really green though, more aquamarine ;-)

Cheers
Stuart

Very nice image stuart, is that in the LMC..?

Not sure what Peter was refering to as the overall stars look was ok to me..? Maybe i didn't see the original? Did you change it?

Mike

not one im familiar with, mind you with the focal length you can get and the ccd youve got, it might only be a speck in my scope .

good to see you posting, the last one i remember was the flame (you might have one more since but ive missed them), geez that was sharp!
