Hi all well my long wait is over and i have finished my f5 12.5 newtonian.
So i had a go at omega last night bit of gradience in the image...oh okay make that a lot and a few other issues,but i was happy to finally get a image.
Lums were 11 x 40sec subs and rgb,s were 7 x 20 sec subs.
It has been a long journey making the newt but enjoyable..and mind boogling at times .The image link is for the large pic but you can click on the original for the full blown image if you desire!
here,s the link....:welcome:http://www.pbase.com/skelty/image/93732346:thumbsup::D

Rob,
Grand image...but you need to calibrate your data by taking an equivalent length dark frame and subtracting it from the lights.
That will remove all the noise and readout gradient from the image.
Cheers

wow, excellent image with a home made newt:bowdown:
cant see any vignetting etc with the large format chip, nice flat field, well done.
You might like to post full screens link rather than the 400% 4 screen zoom on this one though ;).
Make a home made 12.5in RC this good and Ill buy it off you :D.
