After missing out imaging Mc Naught some time back, i decided to get an image of it now. Not so bad, its only at 18th Mag....
So on Saturday night, 1-March-2008, i imaged it for 20 minutes with 1 minute exposures, and binned at 4x4. Camera was the QHY-8 attached to a 14" RCX at f5 using a Lumicon Giant field reducer. Main Image is a negative to show soft detail.
I also added its movement over 20 minutes in 2 frames
If anyone else want to image it, heres the data http://www.heavens-above.com/comet.asp?cid=C%2F2006+P1&lat=39.9676333333&lng=-105.78315&alt=0&loc=The+Icebox&TZ=MST .
