Here is a site up for live-video astronomers to give other people around the world a view of their night sky! http://www.deepsky.dk/ Kind of an International Star Party
It is possible to see several scopes imaging at once -- all in real time.

The tools for this are the MallinCam/StellaCam-like devices and a capture device to stream your video onto the site, and some people live chat with one another.

It certainly would be neat to see more imaging from all over the world.

Thanks Brian,

I have been trying to follow Rock and Jacks live casts but the time zone differences have been hard. When my Mallincam comes in I will join the live casts so you guys up north can get some action from the southern sky.

Matt.

Thats awesome Matt. I hope this catches on.

I have an older Mallincam and I'm in line for the new hyper color. You're really going to like your camera!

Brian,

Check out some of Gavin's latest images taken on the Gold Coast here. We have had really wet weather for a few months done here so Gavin has had to wait till now to start getting some use:). He has posted them in the yahoo mallincam site and was using hyperplus colour camera. Omega just fills the screen with resolved stars. Breathtaking considering these are only single 7 second intergrations etc. Can't wait to get mine now the wait has been 2 months:( anyway should be here in next couple of weeks.

Matt.
