Hi All, I took a image of a galaxy cluster in Droado while I was waiting for something else to be in a good position. I cannot find the name of it though. Anybody care to take a stab, just look up NGC 2235 this is a mag 13.0 galaxy near the centre. :help:

New imagers
Galaxy Cluster centred on NGC2235 look at full version the longer you look the more galaxies you see, this is only a crop makes you feel small doen't it.

Hi Ken,

Great Pic -- loved it.

Attached is a PDF of a Megastar/realsky map I made in a similar orientation to your pic and it labels some (many) of the galaxies you have captured.

Best,

Now why didn't my "The Sky" tell me that I have the Abell DB enabled??? The PDF was great thanks. yhe crop was about a third of the field!! It just boggles the mind to look at images like that and think about how big space is. How did Douglas Adams put it... Space is Big, I mean really big....You mat think it's a long way to the corner shop but that is just peanuts to space...
Cheers
