I felt the tremour here and whoa! I heard a bird in the sky going mad! A few tiles lost. The tiles, radiators and windows rattling. Tony tried to tell me it was the wind and ha! i didnt fall fall it, although his dad did and went back to sleep. The roof tiles, windows, radiators everything rattling and shaking. Everything was moving in his moms room too. We get them every 24/25 years like that. Only lasted for about 15-20 seconds.

Hi Sonia

Wow – must have been quite scary. It reads as if it was more powerful than the one we had in Leeds when we lived there. All we experienced was a little shaking and rattling, nothing too dramatic, more like a heavy vehicle rumbling close by.

Cheers

Dennis

Thats kewl! Feeling quakes really leaves you with a sense of powerlessness to do anything.....your instinct is to just sit there and take it! Glad you weren't hurt!

Magnitude 5.2! That's a decent size, no wonder it woke you up!
