Nice one Geoff:thumbsup:

Banding and colour on the globe, and you captured the Cassini Division.

Thanks Matt. it never ceases to amaze me what modern technology can accomplish with a small scope.

A very nice Saturn Geoff.

You caught a lot of detail from a very small scope. Well done. :)

Lovely image Geoff.. I never tire of looking at Saturn.
What were the specs on capturing that image...processing, stacking etc..?

Just over 500 frames taken and (from memory) a little under 300 selected by Registax for stacking. Quality was set at 70%, which is lower than I would like, but the seeing wasn't crash hot.

Note Added: Taken at f25, using a barlow.

Well, I may have one for sale shortly. I've ordered a DBK camera and everything depends on when it comes and if I can get working with no problems.

Nice image Geoff,

You have a lot more detail there than I can even see with my 130mm reflector.... I am going to have to get some more Saturn practice in and see if I can get some decent shots to your standard now that Registax has me hooked in too. :screwy:

Very impressive.

I never get tired of looking at Saturn.
I remember the first time I saw it through a telescope it almost didn't seem real.
