A bit noisy, but hey, not a lot of exposure time considering.

I tell you what, its so sweet, looking at dismal sydney skies, firing up the PC, a bit of mousing and Photoshoping, and presto, a narly pic :D.

Yeah, yeah, its cheating, whatever, fun never the less :P

Fred I know you are a skilled imager, however, although the content is good , I cant say I like all the colour effect, but that is just MHO.

Excellent image as always! the full res image really stands out and the mapped colours with the yellow/green/red is just amazing. It looks like a bug.

What a cool image Fred.

You have handled the processing quite well for such short exposures through narrowband filters at a relatively slow FR.

Looks like one of those deep sea fish with the big mouth and a bright light hanging from a stalk on their heads, swimming up from the depths :)

The LMC is full of fascinating bits and pieces and yes long FL is pretty useful at showcasing them individually, nice work

Mike!

Have you ever heard of the The Rorschach test? :)

I see a fluffy bunny hopping over a field covered in flowers.....not...

He is as sane as you or me Peter:whistle:, but as for Basenuts image - well coulld be interpreted in many ways - depends on how many photons short of a full image you are Eh!;)

I like the result Fred.

A great looking image Fred, the colours are fantastic and the detail is lovely.

Definitely a critter from the black lagoon to me.

Cheers

Thanks Jay, theres a few bugs around the LMC like this, good narrowfeild fodder.

This is a Hubble pallete, but others could have worked. NB colour is very subjective, not to everyones taste ;)

Gee, Thanks Eric, but a bit more data would reduce the noise.

Thanks Mike, looking forward to a NB ww pics from your goodself :D

Not eating those flower aye Peter :P

Thanks Houghy. Well, I was a few subs short of stack whilst PSing this, interpretation was remarkably clear at the time :).

Ta Ric, Ive got another one in the can

Thanks Mike, beginning to sound like we're all a bunch of hippys :D
