Hi all
This was my 4th day of 5 days in a row of clear morning skies, but only 1 of the 5 gave good imaging conditions. Another day of below average seeing, and this image was the last of the session when Jupiter rose to 42° altitude just before dawn - the rest of the session was even worse with strong winds blowing Jupiter off the screen. My 5th day of clear morning skies (yesterday on the 24th) had even worse conditions, and I didn't capture a single photon the seeing was so bad.
Anyway this one from the morning of the 23rd (local time) shows Io's shadow in the NEB on the right, and the reddish colour of the NTB is still evident. Io was in frame, but registax couldn't lock on it to process so it's been cut :)
The seeing has to improve soon.. Thanks for looking.
