Hello all :) Nice to meet you, I'm derek
I'm a complete n00b and would like to know which of the following filters you guru's would recommend for viewing nebula's and DSO's in a light polluted site as well as a dark sky site.
Should I go the :-
Astronomiks UHC or the
Lumicon OIII, Deep Sky or UHC or even the
Baader UHC-S
I'm doing my research but the more i look the more options i aquire. Too many options can lead to indecision ..which is kind of where I am at now.
I would be grateful for any suggestions :)
Oh, I also quite like my SP32 2" eyepiece ..luv it actually..(i only have one atm) and would like to purchase more of these in future...So should I get a 1.25" filter (which i have 6 eyepieces) or a 2" which will be the eyepieces i will be buying in future, or are 1.25" wide FOV :eyepop:eyepieces better than 2" eyepieces???? I'm reading everywhere on the net that ppl are moving to 2" eyepieces. As you can see, things have gotten out of hand for this newbie, when i find a hobby I learn quickly but it can be a curse ..I have no idea what type or size of filter to buy ..please :help: me :lol:
Clear skies,
Derek
