Hi everyone,
Gave imaging Saturn yesterday a go as there was quiet a bit of clear sky. The low cloud and fog rolled in and out till it finally clouded over around 12:30am
Gave me plenty of windows to capture some avi`s and ended up with 14 3min avi`s. One thing I have learned that this planetary imaging is a bit of a waiting game! Seeing being terrible to moments of quiet steady seeing lasting 10-20 seconds or more.
Details are 6" f/5.6 Newt with 5x powermate and Toucam proII
Stacked in Registax ,best 1500 out of 2200 frames from the best avi.
Some levels and a little contrast in PS. Also resized to 1200 x 960 and cropped.
I am quiet stoked at how it came out....:)
Its no masterpiece but its much improved on my first go last month and I am quiet impressed at what I get for a little 6" newt. Can`t wait for Jup to get higher to have a go!
One day I shall get some good seeing!..:)
cheers and thank for looking.
