Hi Grant and welcome to the forum.
To explain the use of the Autostar can be rather lengthy but if you go to this link :-
http://www.meade.com/educational/index.html
You'll find all the info you need watch the movie and then if you have any more queries please feel free to ask. There's quite a few guys in here experienced with the autostar.
Good luck!

hi grant,
hey were you up at linden observatory a while back?

anyhow I cant answer your goto problems but as for EPs... well you have a 6mm (generally you are going to need good seeing for this EP, and a 30mm which should give you nice wide views. so how about a 20mm and a 10 or 9mm. the rest depends on your budget. if its low you cant go past GSO plossls. bintel and andrews communications sell these for good prices. :)
welcome aboard!

Hi Damon. I've not had experience with the DS2130 but if its anything like using the LX75 then there is one thing you definately have to do before anything (even though your mount is Alt/Az and the LX75 is EQ). If you haven't done it then train the drive. It may make all the difference in the world. That is often the the issue that causes the most problems. I'll have a check and see if I can find out any more about it.
