i was hoping you guys could tell me they seem to be a ccd style camera thing but i have no idea ! ? :$

Being a strip sensor, they are used in a fixed position, so to speak, ala a FAX M/C (machine) as the detector. Wouldn't be surprised if that's not where they came from. Seen similar in heaps of faxes. The moving image is scanned onto these via the mirrors & lens.(The original being fed thru provides the movement). Unless you like experimenting a lot, forget it. :D L.

Hey, we could fax our Astro pics to ourselves with it! From scope outside to Fax machine inside LOL!!!!!
