The original intent of the thread had been lost and the thread had turned into a slanging match.

Since when has fact become ideological? your excuse doesn't make sense.
And if so then the thread should of been closed after the first few posts
when as myself a migrant have been accused by proxy of having a hand
in all this. As if to say people who migrate to germany had a hand in what
Hilter did, or people migrating to the USA had a hand in Slavery. That is
a loony idealogy. Seems double standard of the blind to me... but I guess
it is the true blue aussie thing to do passing the buck and not taking
responsibilty for your own actions. Does it make you feel a little less
responsible that you pass on this some how ideological stand point???
And as a migrant I wished to repond to that.

And as a migrant I wanted to see proof of my so called crimes against
the aboriginals. I'm yet to see proof of what some were claiming without
it veering off to what appears to be hearsay and not fact.

One only has to read the "Bring Them Home" report, and you can see it
is laced with sickening stories, some not too different from my white
mothers story... you see she was stolen too.... for being born to a single
white female was her crime. But it doesn't (as I've read so far) so the
government had a policy of what is being claimed in the thread. If you
read you will see it is laced with over zealous police, and the sick bigotry
of religious groups (mostly Catholic's) the later of which has been very
quite on the subject. Yet it was them who lobbied the governments of
the day for the removal of children.

If we're to say sorry for the removal of children from their parents the
appology should to all children(s) Black, White or whatever that were
removed.

However, Do I think the aboriginals deserve an appology??? hell yes!!!!
but for the treatment of aboriginals that started on day one of white man
standing on the shores of Australia.

Then Paul, it's people like you that are part of the problem.... a sweep
it under the carpet type... based on no real facts. I can only wish you and
your ilk well in your life of lies... to scared of the truth. I see you removed
idealogical from your first post in this thread why? you see fact and proof
were giving and only idealogy was presented as a weak answer. Some
were outragous and simply not true.
