Hi everyone,
Wanted to have another go at Comet Tuttle before it has faded too much so on the 27th of last month I had the first chance since about 10 or so days of cloud. Had a good hour of dark skies before the moon would rise so it was perfect!
Skies were dark and clear which really helped with the imaging. Couldn`t see it naked eye but was visible faintly in the finder, perhaps Mag 7 or abouts.
Image is a stack of 11 images of 3min at iso 800 with my 6" newt and Canon 300D, stacked on the comet and all done in PS. I was glad to pick up the tail extending to the right in my pic. Has faded alot since I last took a similar image a few days after Scott (Tornado33) posted his lovely closeup shot of Tuttle...Give it a go before it fades anymore!
Cheers and thanks for looking... :)
