Looks like nothing but rain in Newcastle for the next week at least. Pity it had to happen on the week of the new moon.
So who has been buying scopes and accessories?
I have for one, but I can't be to blame for all this wet weather.
So who else has been buying things?
I bought a couple of ep's, GSO 32mm from the US and including postage it was cheaper than buying one from Andrews. I'll sell one on ebay to recoup some of the money, that way it might only cost me about $25.00 for the one I keep. :D
We really get bum deals with our bits and pieces here compared to the rest of the world. I understand we have a smaller market here in Australasia but that doesn't mean that I have to like it one little bit, because I don't.
How can retail outlets justify such an enourmous price hike?
They need taking out the back of their stores and givin a few words of complaint with Mr 4" by 2" (with a big nail)
Anyway back to the rain, looks like most of July is going to be a washout for the Newcastle area. I'm glad that I have my soccer to fall back on.
What do the rest of you guys do for a little extra fun when things are wet and cloudy? :painting:

Sorry to hear about that, if it's any consolation the weather has been dire here in the UK for months... Even the normal black skies of winter( when it actually clears) didn't occur last year...

I reckon I've been out with the scope no more than a dozen times in the last 18 months... :(

The price problem sounds very familiar. In the UK the retailers just seem to get the Dollar price change the currency sign and then add a bit.

Shocking rip off most of the time.

Soccer is good Gazz. I coach a youth team up here, top kids/adults. It's funny I've never played myself but I love the game. :)

I played for 22 years and my doctor told me to give it up or would end up in a wheel chair. I ignored his advise for about 7 years until both knees gave in and several ligament strains and tears so I gave up playing and am a referee now.My brothers call me a traitor lol

My eldest plays and referees he likes both. I hope you're not one of those referees that stick to the circle Gazz, LOL. :)

On ya Gazz, It's clearing up here only a few showers tonight. Tomorrow is our club viewing night, fingers crossed the last two have been a wash out.

I hate clouds. I can have a lovely, sunny day all day, not a cloud in the sky. At about 6PM, it'll still be lovely and cloud-free.

As soon as it's dark and I set one foot outside and I look up... clouds.

Somebody upstairs doesn't like me.
