Clear skies again last night on the coast. Transparency was about 6-8/ 10 (got better as the night went on) Seeing was pretty poor again, only about average 5-7/10 again improving as the night went on. Fair bit of sky glow because of the transparency.

First shot is M4 with ngc6144 near Antares. 5X180 sec @ ISO800

The second is M7 5X180 sec @ ISO800

Very nice Paul. I too noticed that transparency has not been the best the past two nights. Hopefully it will be better tonight since it is supposed to rain tomorrow arvo and I need my DSO fix for the weekend :)

Oh its nice tonight alright Darren. That's why the bowls club next door have their lights on :(:(:(

Last night was a good mag 4.5 - 5 at least (At 2:00 am at least :) ) Tonight I'm flat out making out mag 3 to 3.5. Can just make out gamma musca at 3.8 and that's 180degrees from the lights. :tasdevil: :tasdevil: :tasdevil: :mad2:
