Hi all,

I was pleasantly surprised last month when I bought November Sky at Night Mag from the UK. I sent them my image of the LMC from Duckadang, and over a period of a month or so, they asked for more inf of the shot, and if I had a higher res image. I asked if they were going to publish and they said "We are considering it".

So as I said I was pleasantly surprised ... you could have knocked me down with a neutrino when I bought the December issue with the calendar... Miss April is my LMC. Put a spring in my step for the rest of the day:party:

Congrats to Philip from Rocky (Miss February) for his eclipse shot David from Tassie (Miss May) shot of Jupiter.

Sorry if this is not the right forum for this.

Well done Tony - with the royalties you can now purchase that 12" RC and AP 1200 mount. LOL!

Did SAN tell you they published your photo? I had no idea until I opened the calendar.

Cheers

Thanks everyone,

Can't take all the credit though, the camera was mounted on Terry Cuttles' mount which he aligned for me, and the best skies available to order at the Queensland Astrofest. About the only time I do any astronomy is a few days here and there, the odd eclipse etc.

We've been doing a little preparation for this year, and more info will be up on the 'page... at least the dates are there... now :D. Hope to have more stuff up in a few weeks.
